  • October 2009: Requested and received another IPv4 address space block from RIPE: 78.98.168.0/21
  • August 2009: Finished migrating entire Luna.nl backbone network to MPLS
  • October 2008: Added new Cisco 7600 series as core-routers to the Luna.nl network, the Juniper M7i routers now function as edge routers
  • November 2005: Global Crossing has been added as a new transit provider for both IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity
  • March 2005: TeleGlobe has been added as a new transit provider for both IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity
  • July 2004: A new Juniper M7i router is now active as a core router at our datacenter at the Puntegaalstraat in Rotterdam
  • March 2004: A new Juniper M7i router is now active as a core router at our Global Switch POP
  • June 2003: Luna.nl is now connected to the NL-ix
  • April 2003: Luna.nl opened a new POP in Amsterdam Sloterdijk, a fully redundant backbone ring, and now has a 3rd transit provider
  • February 2003: The Luna.nl backbone is now completely IPv6 capable
